Janine Woo has been teaching yoga for 20 years. She has taught teacher trainings in asana, anatomy, art of adjustments, yoga therapy and pranayama.
Janine enjoys educating students from a biomechanics viewpoint or just connecting to the energy through the breath.
Her greatest joy in teaching yoga comes when a student have a "a-ha!" moment and there is less tension and more ease. "Sthirum sukham asanum", effortless ease as Patanjali would say.
Janine has a studied a balanced repertoire of styles yoga, vigorous styles Ashtanga & Anusara to slower styles: Prenatal, Viniyoga, Restorative, yoga therapy, yin, Lu Jong (Tibetan form of yoga).
She has also studied the Franklin Method and is currently studying energy work with a Zen master.
